At the crossroads of two EuroVelo routes

Thousands of cycle tourists pass by the Kembs marina each year on two of the most important cycling routes in Europe.

EuroVelo 6

Atlantic → Black Sea3,653 km

One of the busiest EuroVelo routes in Europe. It follows the Loire, the Rhine and then the Danube to the Black Sea. Kembs is an essential stop on the Rhine section.

EuroVelo 15

The Rhine Route1,320 km

From the Swiss Alps to the North Sea, EuroVelo 15 follows the Rhine for its entire length. Kembs marina, just a few hundred metres from the Rhine, is a natural and much appreciated stop.

Mouth of the canal to the marina

Here the Rhône–Rhine Canal (canal de Huningue) opens toward the marina of Kembs. Through this peaceful stretch, between wooded banks and calm waters, boats reach the pontoons. The nearby Grand Canal d’Alsace is linked to this canal by the Niffer locks, a few kilometres from the marina.
