Nautic Club Kembs
Association under Alsace-Moselle local law, founded in 1986 · Over 50 members from three countries · At the heart of the tri-border area
Non-profit association
Who are we?
Nautic Club Kembs today brings together over 50 active members from France, Germany and Switzerland. A trinational community united around the river, sailing, and a conviviality that crosses borders.
Our club’s mission is to maintain and develop a welcoming marina, to encourage recreational boating on the Canal de Huningue and the Rhine, and to build ties between the sailing communities of the three border countries.
Born in 1985 from a decision made during a simple sandwich break between two enthusiasts, the port of Kembs was built in fourteen frenzied days. Marcel Miclo, co-founder and first president for ten years, is today its guiding figure.
